Good day, and Happy Holidays to everyone. For this blog I felt like I should do something holiday themed, and there is a small project that I am doing on the side for this year.
I have been on Pinterest for far too many years, it is my go-to for inspiration on things to make. I have found my best recipes and craft projects from Pinterest. This blog is showing my current arts and craft project of creating an Eye of Sauron Christmas tree topper.
I came across this pin a few months ago while scrolling through my feed, and I really wanted to make it this year. Fortunately, my staggering Amazon addiction allows me to have some cardboard boxes on standby to use for this project.
There were no measurements provided, I didn’t need them though, as I was confident that I could easily make this without problem. So, my wife was laughing at me as I made drawing this cardboard design overcomplicated before cutting it out.
I had a ruler/leveler combo and drew a redundant amount of measurement lines and placement dots. l left a massacre of cardboard debris in my wake, with bloodshot eyes of madness from overthinking.
I decide to simplify the design for now, and as I re-visit this project, I will add the details later before Christmas. Even though this is not a tower worthy of Mordor right now, I’m confident again, that I can upgrade this thing without problem.
